One of my customers dropped in yesterday to brighten up my first Sunday working in a while. It's the season to be OPEN all days from Nov 27th to Dec 24th... long haul but it's our shop's way of providing all opportunity for our customers to shop during a busy time. The topic of skirts came up. My friend V loves skirts over leggings, very practical I say since our winter winds can be very harsh. She is currently working on one called Tartan Love. Mitten Class – 2 sessions 4 hours = $52.00 It’s the time of year for knitting cosy mittens. Small project Perfect for gift giving!! We start by knitting a small mitten so you become familiar with the different techniques. We then move on with a regular sized adult mitten pattern. Zen Yarn Garden is in the house!! all 60 skeins of it I know Christine, I said I was keeping this for the show... THIS IS FUN TO READ AND QUITE TRUE... WE ARE PROBABLY THE LAST GENERATION THAT WILL REMEMBER WHAT A CLOTHESLINE WAS.     And in lots of places they are now illegal. It's the poem at the end that's the best!!!       Remembering Mom's Clothesline.     THE BASIC RULES FOR CLOTHESLINES:  (If you don't even know what clotheslines are, better skip this)      1. You had to hang the socks by the toes... NOT the top.       2. You hung pants by the BOTTOM/cuffs... NOT the waistbands.     3. You had to WASH the clothesline(s) before hanging any clothes -         Walk the entire length of each line with a damp cloth around the lines.        4. You had to hang the clothes in a certain order, and always       hang "whites" with "whites," and hang them first.     5. You NEVER hung a shirt by the shoulders - always by the tail!       What would the neighbors think?     6. Wash day on a Monday! NEVER hang clothes o
